I have no imternetconnection for about 2 weeks. The models are running and I have suspended network activity. Is there a limit how long it can be suspended?

If I am not mistaken, uploads will time out after 2 weeks.
But are trickles uploads?

I think that is what is in the upload tab in the boinc-menu. But if network activity is suspended it wont be enything there...
I would apreciate if someone who surely knows could answer this question. I dont want to loose my WU\'s

There\'s only one minor difficulty, and that\'s at about 6 weeks.
After then, the server may allocate the same dataset to another user. But this won\'t stop you from continuing with it.

Once an upload starts, (zip files, NOT trickles), it will appear in the Transfers tab, and you then have 14 days to finish the upload, otherwise BOINC will delete that upload file. But NOT the model.

Trickles are only deleted after the server has acknowledged that they\'ve been received.

A small correction to Les\'s comment about upload files. They appear in the transfer tab as soon as they\'re generated, not when the file transfer starts.

The 14 day upload completion timer starts at the first upload attempt. So as long as you keep networking disabled until your connection is back up you wont lose any upload files (unless there was a failed upload attempt before you disabled networking, in which case a manual edit of the client_state.xml file is required to prevent BOINC from deleting the upload files).

but after the 14 days, will the zip-file be deleted and the data lost, or will it be generated again? Is it possible to stay offline for a long time?

If you already have network activity suspended when the zip file (every 10 years, for years ending in zero) is generated, it will just stay there until you resume network activity. A problem arises only if the zip file tries (and fails) to upload and then you suspend network activity for more than a fortnight. In which case, yes it can get deleted and your model will be missing that part of the data.
