I am running Boinc Manager 5.10.7 (64bit) for windows. I upgraded when this version was released during the server outage.

Since the servers have come back up I have uploaded 2 10 year Zip files but have not been able to get a trickle to up load.

Here are the relevent messages from Boink Manager

I have seen this thread http://climateapps2.oucs.ox.ac.uk/cpdnboinc/forum_thread.php?id=5616
Since it looks like you will not be fixing the server configuration will the zip files get linked up to the work unit or should I just detach this machine from Climate prediction?

The other projects that I crunch for have had no issues with accepting my results or sending new work so I am not interesed in try to go back to the 32bit boinc software.

Thanks

We can\'t really help with this.
You can continue to crunch and wait until the server is upgraded, (trickles will just accumulate, as long as you have disk dspace), or you can suspend the model and wait, or you can quit.

And BOINC version 5.10.7 has been withdrawn from approved release status.

Since it appears that that is no way for the back end to relink the zip files to the work unit; and there is no indication that the server side will be updated before the workunit goes dead, I have aborted that work unit and detached that computer from climateprediction.

Will an announcement be made when the server side will support 64 bit boinc so we can reattach?

Thanks

The linking is done by using the 3 different descriptive labels for each model.
Yes, there will be an announcement.

These 3 lines tell me the trickle went fine.

As you can see you did trickles after the system came up:

These 3 lines tell me that it\'s trying to look for work that might be available at a later date. You installed the new 64 bit software, instead of the 32 bit software. If you install the 32 bit application you will get rid of that error.

CPDN will not be making 64 bit for quite a while, and they are waiting to do the backend updates that can force you to get the 32 bit when asking for the 64 bit software.
