One of the workunits I am crunching hadcm3inct_cnmi_1920_160_55870822_3 appears to have been issued 4 times, with 3 of the issued copies all being run actively. Is this normal? My own copy is running very slowly - I\'m just keeping it going until a faster machine finishes its BBC CPDN model in a few weeks time. Then I intended to transfer it. But should I just abort it if someone else is already running it faster anyway? |

I can\'t find the detailed parameters set for your model, but usually there is a random modifier present, which means that all variations of that model are every-so-slightly different. (I don\'t recall the name of the parameter, possibly \'initial ensemble-something\'?) I'm a volunteer and my views are my own. News and Announcements and FAQ |

Mike and Lockleys, I can\'t remember where it was but some time ago, when a new model version was issued, it was announced that 4 of each model (numbered 0-3) would be issued. Regards, (another) MM [Edit here\'s the relevant thread] Visit the Scotland team |
