The program appears to \"abend\" though the work unit is listed as running, the cpu time accumulation stops and I can\'t find a cp model program running.

I have seen the web page message about resetting the project if a crash is seen right away. I never seen any Fortran runtime messages though.

I have had several resets over the past two days and never get past the .02% completed. I even got \"quota exceeded\" this morning from so many resets. Are the bad units gone?

I have four completed Seti units waiting to go back up as soon as the current server problem there is fixed. My install appears to work from what I can tell.

Just a tip, go to your accountpage and lock in the computer list, you have five computers with the same specs. If this is the same machine try to merge them. This has nothing to do with your problem but it's better for all, both your self and the project if you merge them.
When you detach and reattach a new id for your computer is created and a merge will have to be done. If you try the option to reset instead of detach the will be no new id.

Is your system overclocked, Tim? (There's a specific warning about overclocking here).

CPDN stresses the memory and hard disk more than any other application you're likely to be running on your system, so there's more chance of hitting problems when it's running. If your HD is self-diagnosing it's worth checking the event log to see if there are any warnings that it's about to fail. Also I'd advise trying the hardware checks suggested by UK_Nick here and here.
