I have a slab model v5.04 that will be done by Friday at the current rate of progress. There is also a pending zip file in my transfers tab. I only have two CPDN models; all projects are set for NNT.

Can I allow the model to finish with network suspended as mo.v suggested?

Will there be enough free space for zip files/finished models by then?

The transfers will retry for two weeks, so there\'s plenty of time for them to upload. It doesn\'t matter if the result is reported to the server prior to that, as long as the transfers get uploaded eventually.

I'm a volunteer and my views are my own.

OK, I\'ll keep network suspended and models running until I hear that the upload server has space again. Hopefully, that will be within two weeks. :)

The two-week limit for file uploads starts when the zip file first tries to upload. So if you keep network activity suspended and don\'t allow the zip file to try to upload, your two week time limit doesn\'t even start.

If there\'s an extended server outage we\'ll add more advice in the news thread. But I think Milo will move stuff round on the disks in a few days. However, before he starts moving data to free up space where it\'s needed, he has to check that he has a backup that works.

The programmers are expecting delivery of a new server soon but I don\'t think they know exactly when. The sooner the better.

The upload has already tried a couple of times. That\'s what caught my attention to it. First try was yesterday afternoon.

I\'m sure Milo will have completed the job long before your two week limit. Some people only connect their crunching computer to the internet once a month. But don\'t be tempted to try to connect to see whether the zip file uploads. Wait for an announcement in the news thread.

I have a zip upload stuck and so has moderator Iain Inglis. Some of the people with stuck files won\'t even have noticed the messages accumulating in boinc manager.

Model uploaded yesterday A-OK. My first (slab) model I\'ve ever finished!
