For some odd reason, I cannot recieve e-mail at my Verizon account. I had to use Netscape mail to finally get registered. I have both the domain and the e-mail set to always accept and nothing is appearing in my SpamDetector box either.

I tried doing a search on this issue, but nothing relevant came up.

I had a similar problem. No warnings, no errors. The spam detector is disabled, nothing showing up at Verizon.

I tried at least 10 times before giving up and going to another email domain.

When I got my account ID, I logged in and changed my address back to my Verizon account (.verizon.net). Still waiting for a confirmation email needed to verify the change...

Please check on your side for outgoing problems.

I also had this problem as well as trying to access this project through Verizon using the URL http://climateprediction.net. I found that when I connected through URL http://climateapps2.oucs.ox.ac.uk/cpdnboinc/index.php to access this site and used URL http://climateapps2.oucs.ox.ac.uk/cpdnboinc/ to connect to the project, things worked. I now have work units and can access this site.

Thanks for your original post about using an alternate e-mail program. MSN and Verizon view e-mail from this site as spam.

Same problem here - I have two email addresses that forward to Verizon. I tried them both and never got an email. I entered my gmail address instead and got the confirmation email instantly.

The problem is with Verizon. Read the article at the internet news site listed below, get angry, and complain loudly to Verizon.
