I have been running since Dec 8, 2007 and have only 1 instance in which I have received any credit at all. I have 2 tasks...one ran for approx 23 CPU hrs...and the other is at about 841 CPU hrs. I have noticed that unlike with other projects I have seen and worked, the \"to completion\" timer is counting up...not down. It seems that this may be the reason I haven\'t prgressed very much toward completion... it seems to stay almost right at 2.379% since I received my first credit. The report deadlines are for 9/7/2012....so am I going to have to wait until then before I get any additional credit? |

It\'s a dual-core PC so it should be possible for two to run simultaneously. The to-completion estimates are very unreliable, it\'s best to look at the %done and combine this with CPUhours to work it out yourself. Only one \'trickle\' has been received by the servers, there should have been many more than this in 800 hours! I suspect that the trickles are stuck on your PC and can\'t get to the server because of a firewall/proxy server issue. Could you have a browse through the \'what is a trickle\' post in the \'README - running the model\' , and then the \'network issues\' section of the \'crashes and other problems\' readme - the links are in my signature. This should give you some useful background info. If you have any problems then please post back. Do you have any trickle_up files on your PC? (The explanation of what these are and how to find them is in the \'what is a trickle\' post). I'm a volunteer and my views are my own. News and Announcements and FAQ |

Could this model be looping? An 80-year model would need to make slightly more than 2.4% progress to make its second trickle in Dec 2002. Are the model dates shown in your graphics globe advancing, or is the model stuck in the year 2002, constantly reprocessing the same year? Cpdn news |
