This wu after 32 hours had crawled to 1.6% complete. Obviously one of the crawlers, so I\'ve aborted it. Wave upon wave of demented avengers march cheerfully out of obscurity into the dream. |

Blimey! That didn\'t get very far before hitting the treacle. Your Intel oppo on that WU did the same ... |

This is strange. Darknightcl has continued his task from the same workunit, and his is getting faster and faster which isn\'t usually a good sign (though there may be benign reasons). It will be interesting to see his graphs when he\'s finished Phase 1. Will they be normal or not? http://climateapps2.oucs.ox.ac.uk/cpdnboinc/result.php?resultid=7414653 Cpdn news |

Interesting. Darknightcl\'s model is running on an AMD Phenom system. Adrianxw\'s and mig77\'s aborted models were both on Intel Core2 systems. "The ultimate test of a moral society is the kind of world that it leaves to its children." - Dietrich Bonhoeffer |

Given the speed Darknight\'s run started out at, it must have been started on another computer and moved to this one, or started on a slower processor, that was upgraded. |

Either that or else part of the data isn\'t being processed which is what I\'d bet on. Cpdn news |

Darknight\'s Phase 1 graphs are perfectly normal so my suspicion was unfounded. The model seems to be doing very well on an AMD: http://climateapps2.oucs.ox.ac.uk/cpdnboinc/result.php?resultid=7414653 Cpdn news |
