This wu after 32 hours had crawled to 1.6% complete. Obviously one of the crawlers, so I\'ve aborted it.

Blimey! That didn\'t get very far before hitting the treacle. Your Intel oppo on that WU did the same ...

This is strange. Darknightcl has continued his task from the same workunit, and his is getting faster and faster which isn\'t usually a good sign (though there may be benign reasons). It will be interesting to see his graphs when he\'s finished Phase 1. Will they be normal or not?

Interesting. Darknightcl\'s model is running on an AMD Phenom system. Adrianxw\'s and mig77\'s aborted models were both on Intel Core2 systems.

Given the speed Darknight\'s run started out at, it must have been started on another computer and moved to this one, or started on a slower processor, that was upgraded.

Either that or else part of the data isn\'t being processed which is what I\'d bet on.

Darknight\'s Phase 1 graphs are perfectly normal so my suspicion was unfounded. The model seems to be doing very well on an AMD:
