Since altering my internet and pc use so that the model is running 24/7, I\'ve noticed that my average credit doesn\'t seem to be picking up as fast as it did when I was only running the models during the day. I\'m currently running a 4 phase model but despite sending 4 trickles through yesterday, my average credit has only increased by 2. would I be better off from the average credits point of view to return to not running 24/7 and making the manager request permission to upload each trickle?

No. The credit allocation process has all sorts of delays in it: it runs only once a day, for a start - and sometimes not at all. So trickles submitted yesterday may or may not show up today. Your \'recent average credit\' (RAC) will climb slowly to a peak over weeks; it should then settle down.

RAC is an averaged statistic that gives an indication of the rate at which work is done, so it will always be higher for a 24/7 computer than for the same computer run only part time. However, you do have to wait a bit.

Ok, I\'ll keep an eye on it in that case.

You can see the process more clearly at external statistics sites like BOINCstats - your RAC is climbing nicely and showing no sign of levelling off yet.
