This model 8209612 crashed with error code 22.

Near the end of phase 1 the model suddenly began to run 20% faster than any other hadsm3mh model that I have run. It proceeded through phase 2 at the same fast speed and crashed at the beginning of phase 3. If you look at the precipitation graph of phase 1 it just goes off the scale near the end. Phase 2 has no graphs available.

Unfortunately I never look at the graphics so I don\'t know what the model was doing.

It does look like it may have indeed been a fast processing iceball. I\'ve had a couple in the middle of many normal runs. Strange that it chose to crash right after phase 2 uploaded its files, but it could just be a coincidence.

Your current model is also running faster than your other previous models of the same type. Has there been any recent changes to your PC? It doesn\'t look like you\'re overclocking it from the benchmark scores. Perhaps check out the inside to see if there is a lot of dust/dirt clogging the CPU fan. If it is dirty, it can result in overheating and a more likely scenario for crashes.

The computer is not overclocked and there has been no recent hardware changes. I did however open the case and there was a decent amount of dust clogging the CPU heat sink. Those dustbunnies are now gone.

The current model seems to be fine. The graphics window shows the Earth with nice warm colors so no iceball there.

Thanks for your reply.
