It will be a few days before Milo can deal with these but I want the icons for these computers off my desktop.

The last computer in the previous group didn't get minussed so I'm including it again.

That's odd. I've put it through again, with the others.

The first member listed has 9 computers none of which can crunch. They've d/l almost 200 models each and two are already minussed. I'm adding one more but if he doesn't post for help soon we'll have to minus his whole farm.

I'm including a computer belonging to the same farm manager. The second has unusual signal 4 errors on Mac.

Also running a very old version of BOINC.

EDIT

Apologies. It's not the 32 bit libraries this time, it's libstdc++.so.6 (the C++ runtime library).
Try rpmfind

Also running a very, very old kernel. He likely won't be able to find that library that is compatible with that kernel.

Have we again got a problem with the Boinc server version refusing to take action on Milo's minussing script, but only in the case of some computers?

994880

The following are from the last group of 10 computers that I reported on 13 Oct. After Milo said he'd minussed them all I'm almost certain that I checked them all. They were all minussed when I checked. Now some are not minusssed. They are downloading and crashing models again.

1087607
1020144
844631

From a group I reported earlier on 4 Oct (which I know I checked after Milo minussed them):

1040917
917384

At the moment I'm not going to spend time checking all the groups reported earlier than that. I don't think we should report any more computers until this problem is solved.

It was worth minussing those computers again as a couple of their owners have posted.

I've now gone through the earlier groups and have found the following computers no longer minussed, though I know they were before. Only computers still downoading models are listed.

Some re-minussed computers have become unminussed again. All the computers that became unminussed when you first upgraded the server's BOINC have become unminussed again. So whatever was wrong with the code before has gone wrong again in the same way.

I shall only include computers still downloading and crashing models. It's clear that many owners react to the email not by posting for help but by detaching from CPDN. They then cease to be a problem.
