Just checked my results page:

and I am perplexed by the last entry for Work Unit and Result ID 4970. I am very near to completing this unit - only three trickles away I think and this looks a bit ominous. All the others are \"In Progress\" - is this going to go base over apex when it completes?

I also have an <a href="http://climateapps2.oucs.ox.ac.uk/cpdnboinc/workunit.php?wuid=140092">inactive result</a> and wondered why it's showing as 'inactive' when Caroline is trickling every 8 hours or so..? I have other results showing as 'inactive' that <i>are</i> actually inactive but this one isn't. :-?

Im sure it was 'In Progress' the last time a looked a couple of days ago. Just wondered if anything had changed.

I didn't really understand the explanation when I clicked on Explain in the Server Status column - "The result is not ready to send (for example, because its input files are unavailable)". That sounds like a CPDN server issue rather than my end. The WU has hit 96.72% complete (should finish sometime tomorrow, 8/9/04, with luck) and I'll be a bit miffed if it collapses now!!

I'm also sure that mine was listed as 'in progress' a couple days ago. :-? &amp; yeah, I can understand you being a little miffed if the results upload gets screwed up somehow but it does happen unfortunately, although Carl reckons the BOINC server side is significantly more robust than the classic CPDN setup - I'm only listed as having 100 completed full runs under classic CPDN but I've actually completed more like 125 - hopefully all those unlisted results will be usefull somehow or other...

the "Inactive" is just so BOINC won't try to resend it again.
