Problems with the release of the new batch of HadSM3 models? Have had 6 failed downloads with checksum errors in 2 machines. Now reverted to HadAM3P models just to keep on crunching. A few random checks revealed that other team members are also affected. Vaguely remember checksum errors a long time ago! |

For documentation: Also failed on a HadAM3P download. I wonder whether it\'s related to the \'spastic\' nature of download speeds and halts. (There was a period of smooth, fast, downloads after the server upgrades and Results transfers. It didn\'t last.) I now see the occasional download speed of 700 or 800 KB/s but, after a minute or so, download stops for that file. The other active download chugs along at 8 to 30 KB/s. (To restart a hung download, it is necessary to suspend and restart Internet activity.)
