Hi, For a week I have not been able to upload a finished wu. The upload fails with the following error message: Sun Jan 17 14:05:34 2010 climateprediction.net Started upload of hadsm3fub_k6hr_006465593_7_2.zip Sun Jan 17 14:05:37 2010 climateprediction.net Project file upload handler is missing Sun Jan 17 14:05:37 2010 climateprediction.net Backing off 1 hr 8 min 43 sec on upload of hadsm3fub_k6hr_006465593_7_2.zip Anyone knows what can cause this and how it can be fixed? Regards Kjell |

Did you ever find a solution for this? I\'ve got 5 results that keep giving the same \"Project file upload handler is missing\" error, and have refused to upload for a few days now. Other hadsmfub results have successfully gone through in the meantime, so generic networking doesn\'t seem to be the problem. |

This thread seems to have \"fallen through the cracks\". I\'ll pass on a message, and see if someone knows what\'s going on. |

It should now be fixed - please let me know by PM on the PHP board if there are further problems. |

Some of the individual upload files go to one server and some may go to another. Is there anything common to the ones that aren\'t uploading. It will take a little detective work on your part, but within client_state.xml in the boinc directory, the upload server for each upload file for a result is listed. For example, this is a section for one of mine: <file_info> <name>hadsm3fub_k0un_006458281_6_1.zip</name> <nbytes>3087586.000000</nbytes> <max_nbytes>50000000.000000</max_nbytes> <md5_cksum>40fa93d1ea3eb8a89d174d6575f2c676</md5_cksum> <generated_locally/> <status>0</status> <uploaded/> <upload_when_present/> <url>http://uploader.oerc.ox.ac.uk/cpdn_cgi/file_upload_handler</url> <signed_xml> <name>hadsm3fub_k0un_006458281_6_1.zip</name> <generated_locally/> <upload_when_present/> <max_nbytes>50000000</max_nbytes> <url> http://uploader.oerc.ox.ac.uk/cpdn_cgi/file_upload_handler </url> </signed_xml> <xml_signature> The upload server is http://uploader.oerc.ox.ac.uk/cpdn_cgi/file_upload_handler for that file. Another file may be going to uploader1, or something else. If we can narrow down which upload server is giving problems, it may help in figuring it out. Are all the files that are problematic going to the same upload server? |

For followup, the tasks were still stuck and some more tasks started jamming up. Upon examining client_state.xml, I noticed the url\'s for some tasks in client_state.xml had \'.../file_upload_hadller\' instead of \'.../file_upload_handler\'. I stopped boinc-client, backed up, did a search/replace in client_state.xml, restarted boinc-client, and watched everything upload successfully. |

I don\'t like the sound of that! I\'m going to post another message for the project people. |
