I have my max set at 15 Gb and also tried less. For one project it says it needs 7GB more space and for the other 2 projects it says I have set off 0 mb and it needs 2-500 mb. When I have set off 15GB why is it saying this? And how do I get the system to understand I really want the tasks? |

Well, I have been told this your problem is the install location Data directory: F:\\Data BOINC counts everything in the the directory where data is stored and ALL subdirectories. Reinstall and specify D:\\Data\\BOINC Guess he means F not D though |

- And how do I get the system to understand I really want the tasks? Perhaps if you copy/paste the BOINC message log start up section and from there some 20-30 lines for us to read, the more knowledgeable and experienced volunteers here at climateprediction.net may be able to help you? |

Henrik It doesn\'t matter what drive you use for either the BOINC-program part or the BOINC-data part of the BOINC install. As for the huge amount of disk space being asked for, this is odd. However you refer to having several projects, yet according to your account page, (click on your name to the left of your posts), you\'re NOT running any, (click on my name and look at the bottom of the page to see what they should look like), so perhaps you\'re installed BOINC several times, and/or created several accounts with different names/email addresses.
