It seems like it communicated with the network circa 5 minutes ago so I think that that has something to do with it... It is probably not a problem and I think I understand

Of the 12 Work Units assigned to your machine:
- 1 Error while downloading
- 3 Client detached
- 8 Aborted by user

What is your shutdown procedure?

Mike, here's your tasks list. You can click on your name beside your posts to see your details.

I can see you're still fairly new to CPDN, but make sure you don't accidentally click on certain buttons in the Boinc Manager. The danger buttons are Abort, Reset and Detach. Click on any of those and you lose the model you were processing and you can't get it back.

The FAMOUS models are really good and fast. There's information about them in the News thread at the top of this Number Crunching section. I would read about them because the information tells you what to expect.

If you're running v6.6.xx or later client, to see cpu-time in advanced view, you'll need to select a task and choose "properties", since the times shown for "Elapsed" and "To completion" is based on run-time and not cpu-time.

Also, there's a bug fixed in v6.10.57 that sometimes leads to run-time being lost after a re-start, if cpu-time is larger than elapsed for CPDN-work you've hit this bug. The bug shouldn't normally give any problems, so can wait to upgrade until v6.10.57 (or later) is released.
