I noticed that the WU that I just completed had an unusal designation. WU Famous_r149_799_200_006666483_5 only had 1 letter followed by a number (r_149) in its designation. Is this WU somehow different? The other Famous WU’s all seem to have 3 letters and no numbers in this part of its designation.

Oh yes, one thing different, they are running correct. Still some time to error out.

The labels are just alpha-numeric, incrementing, although they did start late in the alphabet.

The FAMOUS tasks have a consistent naming pattern. It breaks down as follows (using Jim's task name as an example):

• famous - application type
  
• r149 - Met Office UM code
  
• 799 - model start year (on 1st December)
  
• 200 - number of years the model runs for
  
• 006666483 - workunit number (no direct relationship to the BOINC WU number)
  
• 5 - task number within the workunit
