This has probably been answered before, but, here goes.

I was making a (now rare) backup and I noticed that the 4 Famous WU’s totaled over 505 MB’s. This seemed a bit heavy, so I looked inside the “Projects” folder and found that along with the 4 Famous WU’s there are 2 Hadam3p folders totaling 197 MB’s. I finished my last AM3P weeks ago.

Is this just an old dead WU that I can safely delete, or do I need to keep it for some reason?

If your BOINC manager says there are only famous tasks, then you can delete the Hadam3p folders. It is also good practice to shutdown BOINC before deleting files or making a backup.

Thanks for the info. I seldom delete Boinc files, but, I always shut down the manager before making a backup. If your don’t shut down the manager 3 files won’t copy.
