The reason for having this thread, was to help people who were trying to access our php forum, which was a separate web site to this board.
Due to a hack attack on that board, the server which it was on was removed, and remains so. The php board will NOT be coming back, but the other part of this site, which was the 'front end' of the project, (front page, science pages, etc), has now been recreated on a new server. (Accessible here.)

It's not the message that others are getting, but if you disconnected from the project recently, or are trying to add a new computer, there's an ongoing project problem that's preventing this for everyone.

There's a thread here that's talking about this problem, along with a few ideas for getting back in.

The 403 FORBIDDEN! message is usually when a person is using an ISP that's being heavily used by spammers, and users of that ISP have been blocked by this project.
If this is the case for you, then the only way around it is to find another ISP that's not a haven for spammers.
