I've been running six full-resolution ocean models 24/7 but haven't received credit in about a week. What's going on?

The credit programs haven't been run regularly for weeks due to ongoing problems, as per the News and Announcement thread, and several user threads in this section of the board.

Good to see the trickles going through again and work units going out though. Well done team for getting the important stuff up and running again.

Please do NOT abort them.

Credit is on hold as things stabilize from all the changes that have been going on. You will get credit all at one time sometime when it's turned on.

For those of us who have been around a long time have seen no credit for over a month several times.

Many thanks for your reply.
I am used to getting credit almost every day since when I joined in november 2010 and am not used to how things go around here.
thanks again

If you've been keep up with the posts on the News thread at the top of this section, you'll know that one of the main server's disks failed recently.
All of the bespoke scripts to do with trickles and credits were on it, so they're having to be re-compiled and installed on the new disks.
This is taking time, as this project uses a very customised version of the BOINC server code.

Up until about October last year, most things about this project ran smoothly. Then the long time programmers started to leave for new jobs, and the project has been struggling ever since with learning, software, and hardware issues.

It's hoped that normal service will resume "soon".

Credits will get updated!! A step in the right direction is that trickle records (see individual "trickle information for result ...." pages) have now been updated. Previously stopped on July 10 / 11.

Patience is good. You never know, maybe credits will be calculated today. :)

I had 15 x HadCM3N work units all suspended with 2 hours to completion. Been waiting to see records getting updated again before now letting them all rush at once for the finishing line.

There was, of course, a backup of this server on the
university backup service, but recovery from backup turned out to be somewhat less than easy. A lot of things had to be re-compiled for the new system anyway.
I'm not an employee of CPDN.
