"recent average credit" way low. There is something strange about "recent average credit". Running about 8000 credits/day the "recent avg credits" displays about 4000 and decreasing. This post not about credits in general, just that the recent average that we use to monitor is not correctly reflecting actual performance. Only reason to post is that RAC has been a way to monitor BOINC projects -- which is not working at CPDN now -- |

I do check mine and hadn't noticed a problem. Computer has been on more recently and recent average credit has risen in line with my unscientific expectations i.e. I have not tried to work out what it should be. Total credit also seems fine though average seems to be updated in the charts more quickly than total which seems to be about once a week. When I get back from work later I might work out what I think it should be. Do you know how many days average credit is worked out over? Dave |

Eirik is right. My host is completing 4 hadcm3n's in 20 days. That's should be a RAC of about 2500. It's RAC here at cpdn is about 1000. See the comparison for the RAC from cpdn and boinstats here. The computation of RAC specifically for hadcm3n seems to be off as that is all that host has been running. I've brought it to the attention of the staff. I'll link to this post as well. |
