Hello Team of CPDN. I have a problem, highly likely on my shoulders: I am currently running task 13473138 or hadam3p_pnw_2unw_1987_1_007484784_0, a Hadam3p-Pacific-North-West-Task. I loaded the task roughly 14 days ago and at oct 26th, in the evening hour finally decided to let the task start. The first trickle was expected at about Oct, 27, 4:30 MESZ, that is Oct 26, 2:30 am UTC-time. Of course I was sleeping at that time. I let the internet-connection, via mobil surf stick, closed at that time. As BOINC-Log-Files tell, the trickle came up at 4:27 MESZ at Oct 27, the ZIP-file was created, both sent thereafter. As I looked in the morning hours of yesterday, BOINC didn't list the zip file in it's transmission tab anymore and the trickle message didn't show up in the project tab anymore. Eventually, since the internet connection was closed at that time, I was asking myself, where is the trickle, the zip-file? Therefore it seems, that this first trickle simply went lost, went nowhere, somehow got lost in between BOINC, operating system (Windows VISTA) and the network and surf stick drivers. During further hours, I let the task run: it created a second trickle at about midday UTC-Time and a third trickle late evening UTC-time. Those two trickles should have been transmitted normally, as internet lines were open then, although they do not show up at the respective CPDN-task page. Then I stopped the task after the third trickle. According to graphics and other observations, the task itself looks good on my computer. My kind questions now: 1) Is there any way to recreate and retransmit that first trickle and the respective data? 2) Is it correct, that trickles 2 and 3 don't show up at CPDN-task-pages if trickle 1 wasn't transmitted? 3) In general, what should I do to save the task? Remark: I have a saved copy of the entire BOINC-data-directory before the start of the task and another copy after I stopped the task, both with currently only the one CPDN-task as existing. In the last copy there is a hadam3p_pnw_2unw_1987_1_007484784\dataout directory with a ton of files, perhaps we can work with them? One remark at the end, I'am not available via skype or any other phone commmunication, because I have to go now; written contact via forum or email is better. Best regards, Waldmeister. |
