Two things, I suspect I am missing it somewhere obvious - the computer I am currently using as my main machine is because of having updated linux and played around with it at least three computers when I click the view button on my account. I seem to remember that there was a way of merging these. Secondly, one of my hadcm3n models reported completing when I looked at the event log - it actually was less than 5 % completed but it is not showing up on this computer http://climateapps2.oerc.ox.ac.uk/cpdnboinc/results.php?hostid=1177281 for me to see what the error was. Also this computer then downloaded 2 regional tasks one of which is running but neither of which are showing up on the above link? Is this just one of those things that will resolve itself given time? Dave |

Hi Dave, On the page "Your computers" (accessed from "Your account", "computers on this account"). Down the bottom of that page is "Merge computers by name". Sometimes it even works - but you don't get to choose which one(s) to keep. On the second thing, you could try the 'tasks" link from the "Your account" page; that shows tasks for all computers. But I think the update scripts on the server aren't running at the moment. Hopefully Andy and Jonathan will sort it out after the weekend. HTH. |

Hi Dave The 5% to completed is a sure sign that the model crashed. The "completed" wording is a BOINC thing, as all that it knows is that the model was no longer running. Backups: Here |

Thanks Greg, I did wonder if it was one of the scripts not running. Dave |

Following merging I can see all three tasks but not sure if that is related as all three were started after the last messing about with the system. Dave |
