I have two hadcm3n tasks which are not showing on my tasks list.

They are:
task hadcm3n_t0gv_1940_40_007544809_1
task hadcm3n_o0gv_1940_40_007544808_1

Is this a known issue?

What is happening to the trickles?

I am having the same issue, but I have 3 of them. They are:

hadcm3n_u3iv_1980_40_007545049_0
hadcm3n_07h3_1980_40_007545093_1
hadcm3n_u57s_1980_40_007545091_1

Is this a known issue?

One of the other moderators spotted the same problem (with tasks hadcm3n_o3f3_1940_40_007543987_1 and hadcm3n_o3aa_1940_40_007543743_0) yesterday and reported it to the project team. Unfortunately you've confirmed that it isn't a one-off problem :(

What is happening to the trickles?

They're hopefully stuck in the intermediate table waiting to be processed.

I have 2 such tasks. They were downloaded very soon after the project resumed operation on 15 November. They do not show up on the website, but they trickle normally and generate credits. One of these tasks was downloaded to a PC with a new ID and this PC currently has a RAC of 52.30 and a TC of 1555. The other one went to an old PC with lots of credits and I am unable to know exactly where they come from. I assume that everything is all right, although not (yet) visible.

On 19 November I downloaded a third task, which shows up normally.

EDIT: I see the average and total credit only when I display the list of my computers. When I look at the detailed information of my newly reassigned PC, both numbers are 0.

Hi there,

The issue of phantom work units is down to a discrepancy between the primary BOINC database for CPDN, and the slave (backup) database.

Pages on this site are (or were until I worked out what was wrong) served from the slave database in order to take load off the primary database.

Some information about s subset of work units has not been transferred to the slave properly, so although they are received and processed, they don't show up on these pages.

I have reverted to using the primary database for this site, and will schedule some downtime in order to get the two databases back in sync.

Please accept my apologies for the inconvenience.

With my trickles they also show only when I view the computers on my account.

Kinda new around here...so that I understand, users should report their individual cases where their Online Task list is shorter than their BoincManager Task list (in my case 7 WU's vs 8 actual WU's, repsectively), or these two lists will sync magically along the way? :)

My missing jobs have now appeared. However, there are still severe delays in displaying the results pages for HADAM3P (HADCM3N is OK) - the problem does not seem to be the familiar Intenet Explorer slowdown, since other browsers are now also affected.

Both "In Progress" Tasks lists now synced...thank you, "magical powers-that-be"... :)

...still not sure whether my online "completed" list is accurate, though... :P

KAMasud

Message from the project:
KAMASUD has a 10 hosts assigned to him, I presume he is referring to:

hadcm3n_o5fh_1980_40_007543011_0
hadcm3n_t3gv_1940_40_007548077_2

Both are listed as 'in progress' and there is nothing unusual listed against them in the database, no error messages listed against either.
