It looks like the credit update from 4 Jan got picked up by external sites. Can we get another one out there? ;-) |

Haven't been checking anyone else's but my credit has gone up each day for th epast three days which seems to imply things are working again. I don't check my credit on external sites however so can't comment o those. |

Following the link provided by Richard H., I now see that the stats directory has files with today's date. So, it should only be a matter of time for the stats sites to catch up. |

Hi ritterm I looked at the 2 stats areas yesterday, and they then said January 4, so there must have been a hiccup back at the time that the trickles script stopped working after the front page server was restored. When the script was re-compiled, I guess something else was over looked. Still, we should now be back in business again for a while. |

Following the link provided by Richard H., I now see that the stats directory has files with today's date. So, it should only be a matter of time for the stats sites to catch up. Or possibly not. Compare and contrast http://www.climateprediction.net/stats/ http://climateapps2.oerc.ox.ac.uk/cpdnboinc/stats/ The first one was designated as the 'primary' stats collection url for site admins to use: the second was designed as a backup in case of failure. I suspect most stats sites aren't sophisticated enough to implement a primary/backup collection strategy. Email upcoming... |

I just added a new machine And what a warm welcome do I get? We give you exactly 1 WU! After several hours, nothing more. Hope you take care of it! If I were a new cruncher, I might give up already. But Im not a newbie, and its all for science, etc.., so Ill endure. - the-op-of-this-thread, 3rkko |

Could be how the new BOINC versions work? But without the Event Log messages that only you can see ... |

The resouce share between CPDN&WCG is 1000:100 so I would expect more than 1 WU after this morning. |

My other, OLD i7 machine, gets a full load of WUs. So WCG is only discriminating against my new machine. Even though the "USER" is well establised. I came back after about 6 month break, but I think I have been following most major news. |

I just added a new machine I had a similar problem. My i7 laptop was getting plenty of CPDN work but an AMD A8 machine I added was getting barely anything. I think you should look at the work buffers under the network usage tab in your local computing preferences. The default buffer settings on 7.4.42 are not optimal for CPDN. Changing both the min and max buffers to longer time periods seemed to solve the problem.
