Works in IE8 now (Windows XP) - but slowly, with several warnings about a slow-running script and the computer possibly becoming unresponsive. I guess we can live with that - other browsers are available (I use Chrome on the same machine), and those who are worried about speed can switch to an alternative. |

The charts are nice :-) Could this thread be sticky? Or maybe create a new one, sticky, with a more informative title, and a working link in the first post? Professor Desty Nova Researching Karma the Hard Way |

Thanks for the suggestion Prof. I've added a sticky locked thread which links back to this thread for discussion. "The ultimate test of a moral society is the kind of world that it leaves to its children." - Dietrich Bonhoeffer |

Seem to have unstuck themselves now. |

Yes, the chart has becomes stuck. The data is being recorded but due to a change at climateprediction the chart is not updating. I need to do a rewrite for this to work, might take a while. |

Hi! The charts should now be back up again. There is still a gap between 11. july and 17. july which I was unable to merge, but I will have another look later. |

The page was finally beginning to become to slow for my computer to load, so I have limited the graphs to only show half a year. The old data is still kept, but not displayed. Is there a "need" for more than half a year in history? One solution is to draw older data with fewer datapoints, but this is a bit more cumbersome to implement. |

Just noticed, pretty colors (feb. 18): http://ob.cakebox.net/cpdn_status/server_status.html Apparently someone changed the name for all the apps. Any announcement of why hadam3p_anz is suddenly mac only? |

Any announcement of why hadam3p_anz is suddenly mac only? It looks as if there's been no public announcement, but there was an internal email explaining the reasoning: hadam3p_anz is currently our only running mac application. |

I have 3 machines running WUs from cpdn and have noticed my Pacific NW trickles are uploading right away and yet my AUS/NEW ZEALAND trickles on the same machine and on my other machines cannot connect or say server temp down.Yet the server status page shows all servers up and running??? Just wondering... I am running Windows on all 3 Should I abort them?I see that they are switching to Mac. |

There's a post about the ANZ upload problem in the adjacent Another Upload Problem thread. The server is down for maintenance. As for Aborting, WHY? Just keep running them until they finish, and then run whatever else is available for Windows. |

I made some minor modifications: http://ob.cakebox.net/cpdn_status/server_status.html - Table is limited to 1024 pixels in width. - Table is extended with total for windows/linux/mac (implemented by parsing the application name, so might break) - excessively long application names are shortened in the plot legend. - Script will retry a bit if the site is down/slow. Hope you like it, |

Yes it looks nice. Anything that clearly shows which tasks are available is good for the project :) Any thoughts about having a brief description under each task explaining what it is designed to do? Or instead perhaps a link entitled 'Description' pointing to an appropriate page. Cheers |

Hi Digby, I guess I could link here: http://www.climateprediction.net/climate-science/models-used/. I have also tried to get hold of the 'Recent CPDN Submissions' which you see on the front-page, which would say more about what each batch is about. It was down when climateapps2.oerc.ox.ac.uk was down, so I am guessing it must originate from some rss feed, but I have been unable to figure out the url. I have sent an email to cpdn... |

I guess there is no (easy) way of finding out the status (number) of currently running models in each set of tasks. |
