Just a heads up to you all that we will be launching another new regional attribution experiment this week, this time looking at the recent heatwaves in Australia and drought in New Zealand.

You've probably already noticed this, but the ANZ experiment is now live and crunching (as it were)!

There's been a bit of press interest in this one - there are links at the bottom of the news article about it on the website:

Just wondering if any of my computer's hard work - certainly not my hard work - found its way into the latest IPCC report.

No, because your computer has crashed just about every data set sent to it.

The IPCC AR5 report is online at Climate Change 2013: The Physical Science Basis. If you look at Chapter 9, for example, and search for "Allen", then any paper featuring "M Allen" or "M R Allen" would act as a good proxy for output by this project, since Myles Allen is the project leader. Of course he may contribute to papers that are not based on CPDN and you may have run models that contributed to other papers. But if your question is effectively "does CPDN contribute at the highest level?" then the answer is "yes!"

Good early morning from Australia. I have been trying to add weather@home to my tasks but seem unable to find it, would somebody guide me to the location etc. I have hit add a projec on Boinic but no luck.

weather@home is the same as Climateprediction.net. It's a simplified access for people who've never run any BOINC projects before.
The only models available under that access method, are the regional models, also know as Weather@home models.
See the Server Status page in the blue menu to the left, 5 from the bottom for a list.

You're already attached, so there's nothing else to do, except wait a few weeks until more work becomes available.
