Don't know if this is useful - ALL my HadCM3 short tasks have run to completion showing 100%, uploaded zip files, then reported 'Error while computing' with 'invalid ' state.

Mac OSX 10.6.8 BOINC 6.10.58

Dave, I have seen another Mac do that when checking out wingmen on tasks to try and work out what was happening with some of these work units. I think that as both zips have gone through the results are probably fine and things just aren't finishing properly.

On the previous batch of short models they didn't clear up after themselves and I had to delete the task folders manually. I have a couple of the old ones and an anz task left so it will be a week or two before I know if the latest batch are better behaved. It would be interesting to know if they are doing this on platforms other than linux which I use.

Bonsai911

I only looked at one of your failures, and it said
ATM_DYN : INVALID THETA DETECTED

And we all know what that means.

This seems to be a "feature" of this batch.
