I saw on another thread that pending credits aren't really pending credits. I first noticed the link today and was surprised to find that I have pending credits going back almost five years. Thought maybe it's the results of a cache system, but would appreciate a bit more info.

Both Pending and Granted are BOINC functions, and are used by other projects.
The values in those fields are what BOINC has put into them, but they are ignored here.

cpdn uses a set of custom written scripts to scan all of the returned trickle_up files, and work out credits from that.
The scripts used to run once per day, but since OeRC, which is where we are, put all of it's servers into VMs, there's been problems.
Now the scripts get run manually, whenever Jonathan has time to keep an eye on it.

So the fact that I have four trickles, but nothing credited to my account, is nothing to worry about?

Nothing to worry about unless you are interested in short term credits for some of the challenges etc. run on external stats sites. In the five years with current id and longer with another id before that went when I lost the email I have always seen the credits catch up eventually. Though the recent spikes in credits falsely granted was a first for me.
