Difficult as it may be to believe -- I think -- remember -- maybe a while ago -- But I think - that- the rutherford lab has actually worked on weekend sometimes. The huge volume of uploads being directed to "rapid-watch.badc.rl.ac.uk" for whatever reason == when it's not fixed soonish it will be fixed by Monday, and the backlog will probably clear by Tuesday. It's only the Mondays that annoy me - because when I've got a few waiting uploads that failed over the weekend, and the server us "up" again. takes a day or two to upload the weekend's work with all the timeouts on the upload side. Which is good -- means that us contributors can contribute enough over a weekend to clog the Uni's "Great Big Pipe" for a day or so -- Sometimes I'm annoyed that the uploads need help from NZ, or Oregon, or some bizarre combination of upload sites world-wide. BUT the data-consumers "researchers" have always done what they can to save every useful little bit of data despite broken BOINC broken compilers, I've learned to trust the "researchers" They know their stuff -- But all this climate thing is about the obvious anthropogenic warming. How anthropogenic warming works, who will die first, how to make millions -- nobody knows yet. |

Hello, got also the same topic. I could upload 4 WUs of "hadcm3s". Every WU has a size of ~63 MB. They are ready for upload for a couple of days. I got further 10 WUs already on my HDD. kind regards |

It's the cpdnupload2.oerc that is the problem. The other one is working but the program that monitors the servers can't see it properly. I expect someone will send an email so that it can be nudged but the person with size 10 boots to nudge it probably won't be around till 09:00utc tomorrow. Normally it is Friday evening the servers pack up so we have to wait till Monday morning :P |

Viper The zip files upload to a server in the same country as the researcher. You have several models for the ANZ experiment. Which means that those zips go to a server in Tasmania, the southernmost state of Australia. The server there doesn't show on our list of upload servers. Is the model that you're talking about an ANZ model? If so, an email will need to be sent to them, adding a further delay. |

The Oxford server that was down at the weekend (cpdnupload2.oerc), is now up. However, there are a lot of external servers that don't show on our list, including the one for hadcm3n. I'll send an email about it, but if you're talking about a different file, for ANZ, PNW, the re-start file (zip 13), or the trickle_up files, then you'll have to say so. |

Thanks: it's the final completion zip for this unit: 18/11/2014 01:15:28 climateprediction.net Started upload of hadam3p_eu_lbnu_2013_1_008826339_0_13.zip on an unattended pc which I'm leaving again before 10.00 GMT. although I can access it remotely if really necessary. I don't know how long it's been trying but last trickle was Nov12th, the pc isn't on very much. |

Interesting. Another person posted about the same problem about a week ago. However, that IS the re-start server, which isn't listed on the Server Status page. Although I thought that it was, about a year ago. So, thanks for that. It's email time. |
