Yesterday, I defenestrated a laptop and installed the prerequisite 32bit libraries. On attaching to the project I got a message that there might be a compatibility problem and did I want to attach anyway. I chose yes and got a message that for each of three model types, (full resolution ocean, short and one other) that these were not compatible with linux with this processor. Not sure of the reason for this and whether there is any way around it? (I suspect not!) |

Hi Dave In the past, the reason for that message was because the OS was 64 bits. So, shouldn't be a problem once all of the 32 bit stuff is installed. |

Seems to be something to do with the packaged version of BOINC as when I downloaded the latest beta which I have running on desktop it just worked without anything else being installed in between. One possible factor is I haven't installed the 32bit graphics lib yet which I will need if I want to look at the graphics. |
