Dear all,

I have two models manually aborted some time ago, but they are still marked "in progress" and they cannot be crunched by others

http://climateapps2.oerc.ox.ac.uk/cpdnboinc/workunit.php?wuid=9938245
and
http://climateapps2.oerc.ox.ac.uk/cpdnboinc/workunit.php?wuid=9547337

Can I do something to free them? These two models in particular have been run under linux.

I think that they may have to wait until they time out. I notice that they are both re-issues having failed on other machines first so I wouldn't worry too much.

If you wait until all of your current models have completed (you have no work), and REMOVE the project from your computer, then then ADD the project back, CPDN will realize you don't have those aborted models anymore.

It doesn't matter if a few models get missed here and there.
This project relies on an overkill of models to build the ensembles, and if there ARE any critical ones missed, the researchers can always submit more. And may have already done so, not just in your case, but for all of those computers that are failing to return valid data.

And if you do a Remove, your computer will get a new computer ID, and not know about the previous models.

And then you can merge the computer records, and see them again.

I thought I could delete few lines here and there in some config files.
Thank you all now it is clear
