BOINCstats reads all projects' status from an XML file and puts them up on http://boincstats.com/en/page/projectStatusInfo. However, for CPDN, this XML doesn't contain the right data.

As I am typing this post, http://climateapps2.oerc.ox.ac.uk/cpdnboinc/server_status.html shows:

   Tasks ready to send	6,909
   Tasks in progress	102,753

However, the XML file http://www.climateprediction.net/server_status.php?xml=1 that is supposed to report the above data in an XML format is totally out of sync with reality:

   <results_ready_to_send>31551</results_ready_to_send>
   <results_in_progress>81235</results_in_progress>

Additionally, this XML also seems to be wrong in all other entries it contains. For example, right now all the servers are Running, but the XML indicates a few that are not running or are disabled.

Fixing it to be in sync with the human readable page at all times would be very appreciated.

Slight problem, possibly: The new XML doesn't exactly match what is shown on the server_status web page, although very close. But the difference doesn't seem to be an expected time-to-sync delay issue. The "Tasks in progress" has been around 97K for a while both on the page and in the XML, but the "Tasks ready to send" is stuck at 0 on the human readable page, and stuck at 336 in the new XML. It has been a while, like a few hours, that I have observed this, unless the XML is getting updated daily or some long interval like that.

Apparently the old url hasn't been update since 2013, which would be when this "new" url was created.
The many scripts for providing data for external stats sites run once per day, and take a large part of a day to complete.
So it's possible that the script for the Server Status page also runs once per day.
