I am aware of the internal weekly status report / update,but do the External stats exsport work??

I like to use http://stats.free-dc.org/stats.php?page=proj&proj=bcpdn but here there are no updates since September 26 !!
Could it be a Free-Dc problem, or is this problem on the CP.N-project side?

it seems the script hasn't been run again or failed, since no weekly update of the external stats is present after last week.

The script just updates the cpdn stats. Don't know if things have changed again so external sites aren't picking it up but the script did run last weekend as my own stats have gone up both on 27th and 31st. I know that when the page for the external sites has changed in the past, some of them have taken a while to respond to the change.

There's been some progress on this.
The script was looked at when I emailed, but nothing wrong could be found.
It's now been run manually, and will run again soon as a cron job to test it.

Our files are now there waiting for the external sites to pick up.

This was from 24 October and there have been more than 7 days since then and no update, hence I raise the point. Of course there might be a problem with external-site as well, but my other projects seem to update just fine.

However stats here have gone up. There was another thread which included the page that the external sites look at to get their information which includes the date/time it was last updated. If I can track it down I will check. I notice that the change from http to https has now taken place and wonder if it is as simple as the external sites needing to change that in their scripts?

The URL though is http not https (if it is relevant).

OK, that's not the answer then, though as I notice many of the pages have changed it may become an issue in the future.

As Bernard says, the script to create the export files didn't work again.
It may be some time before this can be investigated in depth.

I cannot join in this discussion of scripts and exports etc because I have no expertise in these matters. A mere participant, 75 Watts per hour.
However, I can tell you that over the seven days which this greedy laptop has been idling, it has used more power than the lighting load of my kitchen, which is the most intensive in the entire residence.
Idling waiting for more work units, or even news about when they might arrive or why they do not.
Anyway, I must sign off now and will check in later.

With this project these kind of work droughts are reasonably common. It is a good idea to have a secondary project, like World Community Grid, that you can turn to when CPDN has no work.

This url do not work anymore for export stats, could you guys hand out the new url to us?

Dare I ask about a stats export? :-) If the URL has changed, can that be published so the stats site admins can be made aware?
