Volunteering computing time costs. It would be appreciated to post a Boinc Notice that all work units are sent. Just a courtesy to the volunteers you might consider. |

There is a link on the main page, link at bottom of this page, https://www.cpdn.org/cpdnboinc/server_status.php the second item down under returning participants that lets you see the number of tasks ready to send by type. Ignore the current 25 tasks ready to send, that is to do with some glitch in the BOINC system and affects many projects. If you want a near constant supply of work this project on its own won't work for you as the work is released as and when the scientists send the requests to CPDN at Oxford University. Over recent years there has been a pattern of famine with occasional periods of glut. More recently glut has got less common and when new batches of work arrive they are gobbled up by the many computers waiting for them. |

If you are looking for a steady stream of work then WCG would probably be a better fit. They always have something running. If you want to run climate models as well just leave CPDN set to receive new work while running the other projects. You will get then whenever they are available. |
