Found this on SETI fora.

This means that you copied the account_*.xml file from one computer to another. (No problem here). And have not succeeded in communicating with the project yet. Perhaps there are more messages a bit later that can shed light on this?



I restarted the boinc client to see if I could get tou more of a data log. I think it just fixed itself. ???

Does that make sense in your case?

Edit: There aren't any tasks available according to the server status page at present anyway but restarting boinc-client may fix the error message.

I solved the problem by changing the computer name.
