Task finished and gone from computer, however only 20/25 trickles showing and still listed as in progress on above link. In Event log, I can see Std.out being uploaded, 25.zip and restart.zip being uploaded along with the task finishing but no mention of completed task being reported. I had suspended network activity and the task was gone from list on computer before I re-enabled it.

I think only the latest 20 trickles are shown on the web, hence not lost, but this needs to be confirmed by more knowledgeable people.

As for the "in progress" I guess the only thing you can do is detach-reattach and let others crunch it again. My reporting on such WUs so far rendered no results.

OFF TOPIC: Interestingly I had 4 of the 25 month global WUs completed and all have different credit assigned

Looks like you are right, only 20 showing on one that shows on web page as completed.

Also looks like I was being hasty as that task is now saying success. Just a bit bemused by the fact that I souldn't see a record of it reporting on event log. - Must have a careful check of it.

Doesn't the credit depend on when the credit run is done relative to when the task is reported as completed, i.e the number of reported trickles when the credit run is done.

It does, it seems mine finished around the time the script ran so next run probably will solve it.
