I notice that the "Ready to report" status for tasks seems to have gone and they now go from the list in BOINC Mangager as soon as they finish. I can only confirm this happening with batch 577 but suspect it is with others too. They seem to go from the list even if network activity is suspended and I can confirm that the time this task https://www.cpdn.org/cpdnboinc/result.php?resultid=20431410 is shown as reporting was when networking is disabled.

(I know network disabled does not stop all communication between BOINC and projects because in the past when I have manually requested a project update, tasks have appeared but until I enable networking again the files don't download." "Reporting completed task" no longer seems to occur in event log either.

I guess the next step to see if the status, "Ready to report" has totally gone is to disconnect the computer from the interweb and see what happens.

On my BOINC 7.2.47 Linux WUs stay as "Ready to report" for approx an hour. Will check on my BOINC 7.2.42 Linux in couple of hours.

I wonder if it is to do with my running 7.6.33 on all my Linux boxes then?

Confirmed on my BOINC 7.2.42 Linux - Ready to report stays until BOINC connects to CPDN web after Communication deferred timeout expires (1h) or I click Update in the Projects tab

All I know is that tasks are reported immediately when the project is set to no new tasks.
