I found this thread at the BOINC forum from another admin having problems with stats...
http://boinc.berkeley.edu/dev/forum_thread.php?id=8888#52257

Probably nothing related to your problem but it might have some useful pointers.

There is also the Wiki at https://boinc.berkeley.edu/trac/wiki/DbDump but it is probably easier just to start a new thread on their forum and give them details.

Well done Sarah, new export files with data from the stats update from Monday night :-)

Thanks for chasing this Dave.

Hopefully this means everything is fixed for getting regular automatic updates done ?

And BOINCstats picked up the update at 14:09 today. Thanks to all who helped make this happen.

I guess it is possible the stats export might be on a different schedule but at the moment the home side have achieved another 1-0 win with local credit scoring but the away credit still holding last week's data.

Well we got a successful credit export on Dec 12th and that is good. Do we have any idea of any relationship between Credit Export dates vs Credit Posting dates(inside the Project).

I believe that Credit was being run once a week .. back in the day it was Sunday I believe.

Can any of the Forum monitors assist here ?

Thanks

Well I did not get a response to the question below. So I will ask a different question.

This project was doing Daily Credit Exports until November 6th. Since then we have had one manually pushed credit export on December 12th.

With Andy not available is there anyone else who can review this one aspect of the program and get it to work ?

We can wait on Andy's return for improvements in the credit process but credit Export should be making a formatted set of files available on a static IP address I think.

Even small one man projects that come and go like fire fly's seem to be able to do this.

Thanks
Bill F

Takes deep breath.

I shall send another email on Tuesday when there may be someone around to read it.

Page for external credit is going to be updated manually.

It looks like there is still an issue with it running on the batch job at the moment.

(I suspect the more astute readers of this thread will have guessed that!)

Thanks for today's export.

Is the manual update set to be done regularly by someone or will it depend on the volume of forum posts about it not having been done ?

Pass. Don't know if an attempt is being made at the moment to get it back into the batch process or whether that is waiting for Andy's return. I also don't know how much it depends on the amount of other work hitting people at Oxford which includes test batches before work is released to the main site as well as whatever is involved in preparing the big batches that appear from time to time.

I have been told that they will endeavour to run it manually on a regular basis if they can't get to the bottom of the problem with the batch file which is being looked at so it sin't waiting for Andy.

Good news!

I will wait to hear whether this has been done manually or has happened automagically via the batch file :)

Well we have now had two Credit Exports exactly 7 days apart. While it might be early to celebrate it does appears that we are once again getting weekly exports.

A big thank you to any and all that had a hand in the communications and fix.
