I attempted to log into my account, but nothing is recognized. I was required to sign back up, but cannot find my original content and scores. I am looking for help to resolve this please. I still retain all the original information. Found my old account now listed as old_user4292. Anyone help explain what happened? |

Hi, there was an announcement about this in the number crunching section I think. Accounts that have been inactive for above a certain time period have been archived. Andy says they can be retrieved and re-activated but he is away at the moment. I am not sure how much longer - was told at start of period it would be a few weeks. When he is back I will pass on details to him and this can be sorted. |

I am checking in to see if Andy is available and able to reacquire my old account info? |

Ahh, the same has happened to me! When I log into CPDN I have a fresh account with no credit, but when I add the project to my BOINC with the same user details it shows me as old_user131891. I'm guessing that won't just automatically resolve itself, will it? |

That's to do with the General_Data_Protection_Regulation, GDPR. Oxford Uni got in early with this, with all accounts that had not been active for 3 years or more being dumped. Those that got in early, in a few weeks after this, got reactivated. But that's all over now. The old records have been dumped, so anyone showing up since then are permanently "gone". So you're going to have to start again from scratch. |
