I installed 4.09 and tried to run CPDN. Here are a few extracts from my message board: (from most recent to oldest) climateprediction.net - 2004-09-21 17:04:44 - expected 2f928c66d96b13afa5fa2bcf31fb9f4c, got 36f215095253dae053b55c7669a70bcf climateprediction.net - 2004-09-21 17:04:44 - MD5 check failed for hadsm3data_4.03_windows_intelx86.zip climateprediction.net - 2004-09-21 17:03:46 - Checksum or signature error for hadsm3data_4.03_windows_intelx86.zip climateprediction.net - 2004-09-21 17:03:46 - expected 2f928c66d96b13afa5fa2bcf31fb9f4c, got 36f215095253dae053b55c7669a70bcf climateprediction.net - 2004-09-21 17:03:46 - MD5 check failed for hadsm3data_4.03_windows_intelx86.zip climateprediction.net - 2004-09-21 17:03:45 - Couldn\'t delete file projects\\climateprediction.net\\hadsm3data_4.03_windows_intelx86.zip climateprediction.net - 2004-09-21 17:03:43 - Giving up on download of hadsm3data_4.03_windows_intelx86.zip: Downloaded file had wrong size: expected 4493630, got 12710206 climateprediction.net - 2004-09-21 17:03:40 - expected 1c154f3de0267dae814b36f42aa30e33, got ddfd9fcbb13ff0697687995d34dea63d etc pp.. seems like it always tries to download files again. As i have seen on your application page, you still use version 4.03 for windows. Is it impossible to run CPDN on a 4.09 machine? Should I detach and wait until you get to 4.09? |

4.03 is the slab model. (CPDN project appliction) If you click the model download link, the version of BOINC is 4.09. 4.09 works just fine with CPDN, you are getting download errors for some reason. Have you tried resetting the project to see if that has any effect? |
