Actually, i am building a list about the specifications for starting with a project, can you help me please?. Welcome, Vincenzo. At the moment the project supports only Microsoft Windows. However, in the longer term it supports both Linux and Mac, but there is a bug with those applications at the moment so they have been temporarily withdrawn. |

Hi Vincenzo, the only thing I would add to what Ian has said is that CPDN does run using the Windows version of BOINC under WINE. |

At the moment the project supports only Microsoft Windows. However, in the longer term it supports both Linux and Mac, but there is a bug with those applications at the moment so they have been temporarily withdrawn. While this is true as a practical matter, I sometimes get a work unit like this one: hadcm3s_x5300_190012_60_771_011668342 for my Linux 64-bit machine. And they often (over half the time) complete successfully. This one: hadcm3s_x5300_190012_60_771_011668342_2 is running now, has executed about 100 hours of CPU time and is claimed to be 82% complete. There are four .zip files queued to be uploaded, though the server has not been working correctly. They upload 100%, but they then immediately requeue to be uploaded. This has been going on for several days now. |
