I am experiencing a problem with one particular screensaver - 3D Windows XP (from Microsoft) which fails after 1-3 seconds. If I disable everything using msconfig then it works. I'm wondering if it's Boinc that's causing this. Other 3D screensavers (and Boinc's) work fine. Anyone else experiencing this? (Windows XP Home SP2) |

The 3D types of screensavers usually will cause the computer to hang when any DC project is running. They just can't get enough CPU time to start or stop when a high CPU usage program is running. <br>John Keck -- BOINCing since 2002/12/08 -- <a href="http://www.boinc.dk/index.php?page=user_statistics&project=cpdn&userid=191"><img border="0" height="80" src="http://191.cpdn.sig.boinc.dk?188"></a> |

I thought as much. I'm only using 1 of 2 processors, but even so I suspected that this was the case. <img src="http://seti.mundayweb.com/stats.php?userID=287&trans=off"></img><br><img src="http://boinc.mundayweb.com/cpdn/stats.php?userID=73&trans=off"></img><br><img src="http://boinc.mundayweb.com/seti2/stats.php?userID=1057&trans=off"></img> |
