After a big crash the computer had to be rebuid from scatch, all tasks are gone. The following tasks are still marked "in progress", but no more on the computer. Can they be aborted to be resent or must they wait until deadline Oct. 2020 ? Tasks No. 21674240 21715489 21794927 21797658 21793602 21800057 21797917 21797742 21792907 21799587 21791049 21791564 21790226 21778342 21779653 21777399 Many Thanks |

Hi, try to detach the host from the CPDN project and reattach again. Via BOINC manager Remove CPDN and then add it again. This usually works, not sure in your case though. I still have one from 2013 with a deadline 2023 - almost there. |

Only take this action when you have no work. |

Now i see that all these tasks are listed as "abandoned". That means that they are resent to oher users ? Yes, unless they are already in the last chance saloon. For Windows tasks that means the name ending in _2 indicating it is the third attempt for the task, with Linux to cope with the large numbers of machines missing libraries I think _4 because they get 5 attempts now. |
