What is the situation of the new project url with https? When will the http url be expired? Now that we don't have any new tasks for windows or linux would be good to change that address if the old one will become obsolete soon.

The secure version has been around for a few years.
In September last year, Andy sent the mods an email about changes, part of which said: The project is going to switch from: https://www.cpdn.org/cpdnboinc/ to https://www.cpdn.org/.

So https://www.cpdn.org has been the url of choice for some time.

No idea when the old unsecure one will disappear.

I'm still connected to http://climateprediction.net/ and haven't had any problems.

Both machines crunching here so I can't check to see if it is still possible for new machines to connect via the old url which goes to the project's front page after adding an s to the http. I will try when I run out of work if more isn't forthcoming before then. (and I remember!)
