I have boinc set to work climateprediction.net, LHC, Rosetta, and WCG. Haven't gotten any tasks in weeks. It connects, and either tells my computer to try back in an hour or simply says no tasks sent.

What's the deal?

There hasn't been any work from researchers running Windows programs for a few months.
This is likely to continue for some time yet.

Ok, thanks. I didn't see a boinc notice about it and was wondering if I was configured wrong or something.

I'm wondering that no work has been sent to BOINC. Climate research is a topic, isn't it. Is there a real reason? Are the distributed CPUs out kicked by supercomputers?

The only work here is about Attribution studies.
So it would need someone in one of the research centers to write a proposal for who ever runs the center, to look at some climate event that's happened in their area of the world.
And some/all of them may be under restrictions because of the virus.

There were a bit over 6,000 Windows tasks about a week ago.
Your computer must have been busy elsewhere.

I finally got one WU last week, finished it today. Upgrading my system so I'll be a bit faster in the future...
