What if instead of exiting the model in VB/VM which does cause problems, we instead save the machine state? I have been experimenting for the last four days and it has so far caused no problem. Another advantage, on restart we do not have to start from the last trickle. I do not know exactly, any feedback? __________________________________ The tasks are also running faster. It does not fall back to the last checkpoint which it does with a re-start. I have a question. Single Board Computers. they do not cost much and run on some flavour of Linux. Speed can be from 1.26 GHertz to boost 2 GHertz. CPU's onboard can be anywhere from four main and some minor running at slower clock speeds. Here are the Specs for Raspberry 4. Specifications Broadcom BCM2711, Quad core Cortex-A72 (ARM v8) 64-bit SoC @ 1.5GHz 2GB, 4GB or 8GB LPDDR4-3200 SDRAM (depending on model) 2.4 GHz and 5.0 GHz IEEE 802.11ac wireless, Bluetooth 5.0, BLE Gigabit Ethernet 2 USB 3.0 ports; 2 USB 2.0 ports. Raspberry Pi standard 40 pin GPIO header (fully backwards compatible with previous boards) 2 × micro-HDMI ports (up to 4kp60 supported) 2-lane MIPI DSI display port 2-lane MIPI CSI camera port 4-pole stereo audio and composite video port H.265 (4kp60 decode), H264 (1080p60 decode, 1080p30 encode) OpenGL ES 3.1, Vulkan 1.0 Micro-SD card slot for loading operating system and data storage 5V DC via USB-C connector (minimum 3A*) 5V DC via GPIO header (minimum 3A*) Power over Ethernet (PoE) enabled (requires separate PoE HAT) Operating temperature: 0 – 50 degrees C ambient * A good quality 2.5A power supply can be used if downstream USB peripherals consume less than 500mA in total. __________________________ Can we run Climate WU's? Drape them all in front of the air-conditioning outlet. Anyway, at max 8GB's of RAM we might get away with three WU's. There are some SBC's with M.2 slot. A video card can be run with an alternative power supply. You need an adapter cable. 16x |

I don't think they will run on an ARM processor. |

I don't think they will run on an ARM processor. That is my understanding too but I did wonder if they would run the OpenIFS tasks. I am thinking of getting one and if I do before the next testing batch comes along will see if I just get the message about no tasks for my type of processor. (With them, you would likely only be able to run one at a time because of the memory requirements. |
