Hi All,

Just to let you all know that there will be a period of downtime for the CPDN services tomorrow (Monday 28th June) and on Tuesday (29th June). On Monday, the downtime will start at 2pm (UK time) and end at 4pm (UK time). On Tuesday the CPDN services are expected to be disrupted for the majority of the working day, this disruption will start at 9:30am (UK time). Both downtimes have been requested by the Engineering Department IT Support, in order for them to conduct work on network switches and firewalls. We apologies for any inconvenience.

Could we have a reality check from the Engineering Department IT Support team, please? How did the networking/firewall work go yesterday? Is it finished, so far as they know?

My host 1497236 has had multiple problems downloading files today, and in some cases wingmates have had problems with the same workunits.

Got this back.

Hi Dave,

Apology for not providing an update on this.

The work was completed, I understand successfully. The work however caused a number of issues with the CPDN infrastructure which I have been working through today to rectify. This included the downloading service, which should now be working. The core infrastructure is up and running, however I have still issue the backup service, which won't affect the volunteers.
