Did you clone the CPDN HostID when you cloned the hard disk? Server databases don't like duplicated primary key entries in their tables.

Bear that in mind next time.
I currently have two instances of BOINC on the same machine with the boinc data folder having been copied from the vm running tinty10 windows to the WINE installation. I don't intend to test the BOINC server software by allowing the WINE one to contact the server. I can say that all the zips including the restart so far have been identical between the two installations.
