I have three resends running; two of them now have over 5 days on them and the most recent has over 4 days. Each has 2 failures before I got mine. The second failure was due to the download problem recently resolved. Mine is from the same batch and like yours the first failure was a no response from the host. |

I wonder if it's worth the cpu on that one, the workunit is a year old. CPDN really should update the deadlines for the MetO models.Andy is saying it should be fixed now. Finally got one of the resends and can confirm from my own experience that it is fixed. --- CPDN Visiting Scientist |

And the computer has finished other tasks in a reasonable time this year. I suspect the user has done a clean install for some reason and the task never got going. |

Or uninstalled boinc. I still have an unfinished HadSM4 task for that reason on an attempt to get Linux Mint to work properly with WSL. It's a shame we can't manually abort these from our web accounts.I wonder if it's worth the cpu on that one, the workunit is a year old. That would be useful though I suspect the worst offenders don't read the forums and would never discover it. As you say, cutting the deadlines of the Met Office tasks would help no end. |
